Resize and download
Two things. Pixel dimensions (like 800×600) set how big the picture is — adjust that here; file size (KB) sets how much space it takes — adjust that with the compressor. Many "make it 200KB" requests actually need compression. Shrinking pixels also reduces size, so the two combine well.
Enter 295 and 413 in the width and height fields. If the original ratio differs, locking the aspect ratio scales proportionally with padding, while unlocking stretches to the target and may distort — for ID photos, crop to ratio first, then resize.
Plain resizing interpolates pixels, so the more you enlarge the blurrier it gets — it can't invent detail. When you need a sharp enlargement, use the super-resolution upscaler, which rebuilds texture and edges.
Common standards (300DPI): 1-inch 295×413px, small 2-inch 413×531px, 2-inch 413×579px. Follow your institution's requirement; the tool lets you enter these exact pixel values.
