Upload, choose 1:1, drag the box over the face and crop. Chat and social apps display square images as circles automatically, so a square is enough — no need to crop a circle.
Cropping only removes pixels outside the box and doesn't change what's inside; blur usually comes from later platform compression or a low-res original. This tool exports at the original resolution; if your target size exceeds the original, use the super-resolution upscaler instead.
For a vertical cover, 3:4 (commonly 1080×1440) works well. Pick 3:4 and frame the subject to avoid the platform re-cropping and clipping the edges after upload.
The export is a rectangular PNG/JPG, which most apps display as a circle automatically; for a fixed circular transparent background, crop first and then use the background remover.
